Red Flag 2023
Posted: Mon, 16 Jan 2023, 21:01
ALCON,
USAFv in cooperation with vUSAF will be holding the following event this
year at Nellis AFB in Nevada. We will be replicating Red Flag Nellis
with the addition of transport aircraft and activities. We have modeled
the target areas after real-world information and maps. We will be
offering A2A, A2G, SEAD, CSAR, SAR, AAR, AirDrop, Troop Insertion, and
more at this year's event. We will be using CCP and FSCAI for this event
so those who wish to perform combat operations will need to use that
software. We will also be making missions for both X-plane and MSFS 2020
platforms. There will be plenty for all to do during this year's
exercise.
The dates for this year's exercise are from Monday, March 6th, 2023
until Sunday, March 26th, 2023. Please let us know ASAP if your VSO
plans on attending this year's event. Updates to the RFN website are
underway and information will be released as time permits and the event
gets closer. Hope to see you there this year.
