Llevo una temporada bastante desconectado. Os subo info de la nueva versión

WHAT'S NEW
===========
- More target objects, bridges, chemical plant, paratroop camp
- BOMB BURST FRAGMENTATION, what means ?
vACMI now takes in account the bomb fragmentation envelope, if you drop a bomb too low or it explodes too close to your aircraft you will suffer a damage as usual, first damage can be randomly applied, the second is lethal.
Here fragmentation safe radius (in feet) for each weapon, consider it as the radius of the semisphere over the impact point, if you are in it will hurt.

in the future we will consider also the target type in computation of the safe radius.

INSTALLATION NOTES
=================
version 5.0.7 can be safely overwritten

Remember to re-edit vACMI.ini file each time you install a new version, to this end vACMI Config has been made.
Airplane must be reloaded each time you change vACMI.ini

Esto es la pera. Sale casi una versión diaria. Hace dos días descargué y ayer instalé la v6 y ya está por ahí la 8.
Al menos, por ahora no me falla ni una conexión.

Pues tampoco les pasaba nada si se aguantasen un poco y sacasen una versión cada mes, pero con más cosas añadidas...así se vuelve uno loco. Yo ya no sé ni qué versión tengo metida...

Hola a todos, llevo bastante tiempo leyendo el foro sin atreverme demasiado a postear nada. Enhorabuena por la actividad y el buen ánimo que se ve por aquí.

Compré vACMI hace casi un año, aprovechando una oferta de SWW, junto al Zipper (antes de que lo hicieran gratuíto). La razón fundamental fué poder ver cómo la carga militar realmente caía donde se esperaba, observar la física de las bombas y practicar un poco con el F-84 de ellos, que también poseo.

Por mis circunstancias familiares no tengo mucho tiempo y me resultaría complicado entrar online en misiones cooperativas y demás, el problema es que observo que el módulo vACMI está diseñado prácticamente para el vuelo online, según estoy viendo. Por los videos que he podido mirar (y admirar) veo que en este ala, si me permitís la expresión, vACMI etá bastante activo. De ahí mi pregunta ¿Hay alguna forma de sacarle partido a este módulo en modo "offline"? Me refiero, algún vuelo creado ex-profeso para entrenar, algún polígono de tiro, alguna misión...

Tengo ilusión en adquirir el Tacpack, pero me temo que voy a estar en las mismas. Sin una buena AI, sin misiones dedicadas offline nada mas que me queda volar y disparar al aire, porque derribar aviones de pasajeros (será que me estoy volviendo viejo ya) no es algo que me agrade. Si conocéis material offline para usar con Tacpack / vACMI os estaría agradecido.

Se puede usar perfectamente offline. Puedes añadir objetos y amenazas tanto de SAMs como AAA. Hace tiempo colocamos todos nuestros SAM y AAA hacia 1986 en un fichero. Yo estos días estoy fuera, pero seguro que algún compañero te lo puede subir. Y si sacas tiempo te esperamos para hacer cosas online

All VAAFSE members, VIP include, should download and install, please report issues and errors if any.

WHAT'S NEW
==========
- Air2Ground Gunnery implementation, now players can see theirs bullets hit the ground and if the target has been hit an explosion occurs, explosion type depends on target class. A2Gnd gunnnery is implemented on F-104 S at the moment, in the final version all VAAFSE planes will be equipped with a2g gun.
- Bombing CEP implementation, now bombs/rockets can be delivered against known ground targets and if the target has been hit an explosion occurs, explosion type depends on target class.
- Same applies for vACMI ships, however CEP is valid only on single player since in multiplayer is not possible know ship positions, we will implement a sort of naval/ground seeker to this end in the future.
If the bomb/rocket miss the target no target explosion occurs, however the bomb blast will be visible.

Up to 32 targets can be inserted into a single file, however only first 6 can be selected to be used with guided weapon such as GBU12, HARM or KORMORAN, while all 32 can be used with bomb/rockets/gun.

This property describes the target type, several target models are already available (actually 45, but that number can be increased easily), if a known target type name is entered on TGT_TYPE: property, it will be dynamically constructed when the target file is loaded, in above case a train will be constructed at the position LAT:/LON:
This permits to construct target sceneries easily without be linked with the time consuming work to make static target sceneries.
Since all those objects are local to a single player it means that the same target file must be loaded by all players going on that target, as sim objects do not load on the multiplayer network have no impact on server performances.

This property is related with the explosion that occurs when the target has been hit, several classes are available with several explosion types.
